As Spotify dominates personalization with its rockin’ Discover algorithm, the brand is now sharing a little bit of “you” with your neighbors.  “Dear person who played “Sorry” 42 times on Valentines Day – What did you do?”  Are these geo-targeted reveals personalization at its finest? Or insights gone too far?

Gotta hand it to the brand that nailed personalization so well, that it has a little extra bits of weirdness to dangle out to the public. While it might make some users think twice next time they interact with the platform, the rest of us are entertained and schooled all at once.  Bold and Spot on.  Free Range Winner.
